'Décors à vivre' ('Décors for Living') , with the Luis Laplace agency

For its 3rd appearance in the 'Décors à vivre' event, organised by AD Intérieurs, Métaphores, in conjunction with the Luis Laplace agency, is revisiting the anteroom of Porforio Rubirosa, the legendary post-war playboy.

For the 5th edition of the 'Décors à vivre' event, the Luis Laplace agency is building a replica of the bachelor apartment of a famous 1950s lothario in the prestigious setting of the Decorative Arts Museum. Métaphores is a partner in this project, and is contributing its elegant and refined fabrics to help to recreate the voluptuous atmosphere of the place.

For almost ten years, Luis Laplace has been making interiors for the greatest names in contemporary art. The agency is a specialist in linking different styles, and has been working here around an exhibit from the Decorative Arts Museum, a Louis Philippe-style desk created by Clément Mère in 1923. Selected furniture and works of art are displayed with their deep tones ranging from the powder pink of the walls to the petrol-blue carpet.
